PET - Polyethylene Terephthalate Film

It has high durability, high barrier properties and temperature resistance. Preserves the products aroma. Film types: transparent, metallized, with coronal and chemical activation of the surface. It is used for production of packaging made of the multilayered films on PET basis, with lamination and metallization.

BOPP - Biaxially Oriented Polypropylene Film

It has excellent transparency, gloss and fine outward appearance, high elasticity and tensile strength (which makes it possible to use the films that are thinner than many other films), with excellent dielectric characteristics and barrier properties against vapor and gas permeability and against foreign odors. A special layer of copolymer, applied by co-extrusion, provides an excellent capacity for sealing. Film types: transparent, white, pearly, metallized.

PVC - Polyvinylchloride Film

"Breathable film" is used as a disposable packaging for long shelf-life products. The PVC film has all the advantages of polyethylene films, however it has improved characteristics. Moreover, these films have a "barrier" effect, i.e. the possibility of passing through the air components – water vapor, carbon dioxide – outside and oxygen inside. Due to this property, "breathing" of the products is enabled – maintenance of the microclimate inside the package and long-term preservation of products, accordingly.

PE - Polyethylene Film

Protects against oxygen and moisture. It is used as a disposable packaging of products of short shelf-life in food production, retail trade, fast food chains, and as well as in agriculture and construction. Being in direct contact with the product, it ensures a longer storage of products, helps to preserve their properties, prevents fast drying, protects from environmental influences and impregnation with foreign smells.

CPP – Non-oriented Polypropylene Film

It has high mechanical resistance, high transparency, gloss, fine outward appearance, increased resistance to acids and fats, the capacity for thermal welding, metallization and printing of all kinds of prints. Due to the high thermal strength of polypropylene, the packaged products can be sterilized in a film with a thickness of 30-40 μm, which allows avoiding the use of preservatives. It is possible to apply microperforation to the film, which makes it possible to pack products while hot. It is used for lamination of the films, production of flexible packaging material.

РР - Non-oriented polypropylene film

It is characterized by resistance to damage and excellent welding capacity, the ability to apply any type of prints; it is safe upon contact with food. The tensile strength is up to 30 MPa, the elongation at rupture is not less than 400%, Vapor permeability is not more than 2 g/m 2/24 h, gas permeability for oxygen is not more than 1 х10(-8) m2 Pa -1 with -1, puncture resistance not less than 8 MPa. If necessary, the physicochemical properties of the film can be adjusted by using appropriate modifying additives. The extrusion method is used to produce thin films, fibers and filaments out of the polypropylene. Polypropylene film is used for hot shaping the disposable dishware and packaging.

Films with a "twist effect" (PE, PVC, BOPP)

The main property of twisted films is a capacity to maintain a twisted shape, i.e. they have a "good memory" – twist effect (this is important, for example, in packaging of sweets). The film is heat-sealed, metalized and laminated; it has a fine gloss, enables an attractive shape of the products, maintains the seal well and has good barrier properties.
